Favors’ Deception
She dealt in whispers, in debts unseen,A smile so soft, yet sharp and keen.A favor here, a promise there,A web spun tight in poisoned air.
They called her kind, they called her fair,Never saw the dagger there. Each gift she gave was laced with thread,Tied to throats of those she fed.
He asked for help, she lent her hand,Now he drowns in shifting sand. She never takes—she lets you give,Until you owe the right to live.
And when they beg, and when they break,She counts the souls, the tolls they make.No theft, no crime, just one correction—A world that favors pure deception.
